CASH PLUS RAFFLE! Rules of Play 2025-26
1. Players of this lottery must reside in or be visiting Ontario, be 18 years of age or older, and must use a major credit card to purchase tickets online.
2. Tickets will be available for sale online through the Rafflebox Technologies Inc. electronic raffle system. Tickets can also be purchased in person at Vicky's Values Thrift Boutique (owned and operated by Women's Resources) or by sending an e-transfer to raffle@womensresources.ca. When purchasing in person or by e-transfer, the purchaser must provide the following information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
These entries will be manually entered by a Women’s Resources representative at a later date, in to the Rafflebox platform as “in-person, cash” sales.
Women’s Resources also reserves the right to make in-person ticket sales available at special events.
3. Tickets will be available at the following price points:
- 50 for $100
- 20 for $50
- 3 for $20
- 1 for $10
4. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail with their registered ticket numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
5. There are three (3) prizes to be won, as outlined below.
- Third prize - $500 in Food Basics gift cards.
- Second prize - $1000.00.
- First prize - $5000.00.
6. The raffle will begin on October 27, 2025 and conclude on March 13, 2026 at 10:00am.
7. Draw Date:
• March 13, 2026 at 2:00pm
8. The winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system via Rafflebox, from all raffle numbers sold for the draw. The prizes will be drawn in the following order: first prize, second prize, third prize.
Each winner is eligible for only one prize. If the same name is drawn more than once, the duplicate will be void and a new ticket number will be selected by the Random Number Generator (RNG) in Rafflebox.
The winners will be contacted by phone and/or email as provided at ticket purchase.
9. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Holly Medeiros, Fund Development Manager, via phone at 705-878-4285 ext. 215, or by email at hmedeiros@womensresources.ca. The first and second place winners will be paid by cheque for the amount of the corresponding prize. The third place winner will receive physical Food Basics gift cards in the total amount of $500.
10. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date that Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes contacts them to inform they are the winner of the raffle.
11. In the event that the winner does not collect the prize, the amount will be held for 6 months. After that time has elapsed, the prize will be donated back to Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
12. By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to allow Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes to use the purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any promotional and social media activity related to this or any future raffle.
13. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the raffle:
a. The Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes Chair of the Board of Directors.
b. The Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes Executive Director, Finance Director, Fund Development Director, and Fund Development Manager.
c. Any member of Rafflebox, along with members of their household.
d. Ontario residents or visitors to Ontario under 18 years of age.
