South Country Fair 50/50 Raffle – Official Rules

1. Sponsor
The South Country Fair (the “Organization”), a licensed charitable organization in the Province of Alberta, is conducting this raffle under the authority of the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).
2. Raffle Period
Ticket sales will begin on June 25, 2026 and will close on July 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM (Mountain Time).
3. Draw Details
The draw will take place on July 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM (Mountain Time) at the South Country Fair grounds.
The winning ticket will be selected randomly from all eligible tickets sold using the Rafflebox electronic raffle system.
4. Prize
The prize will be 50% of total gross ticket sales (the “Jackpot”).
The remaining 50% of ticket revenue will be retained by the Organization for charitable purposes.
The total prize amount will be determined at the close of ticket sales.
5. Eligibility
Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.
Ticket purchasers must be physically located in Alberta at the time of purchase.
Board members, executive members, and individuals directly involved in the conduct and management of the raffle, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to purchase tickets or win.
6. Ticket Sales
Tickets will be sold online through the Rafflebox platform and may also be sold in person using Rafflebox point-of-sale tools, in accordance with AGLC regulations.
Online purchases must be made using a valid credit card or Visa Debit with an Alberta billing address.
Ticket bundles and pricing will be clearly displayed at the point of purchase.
Upon purchase, players will receive a digital ticket by email from Rafflebox.
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
7. Winner Notification and Prize Claim
The winner will be notified by phone and/or email using the information provided at the time of purchase.
The winning ticket number will be posted on the Organization’s website and/or social media channels.
The winner must claim the prize within 90 days from the draw date.
The winner may be required to provide valid government-issued identification to verify eligibility.
8. Prize Payment
The prize will be paid by cheque or electronic funds transfer within a reasonable time after verification of the winner.
The Organization will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner.
9. General Conditions
The raffle will be conducted in accordance with all applicable AGLC rules and regulations.
By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to abide by these rules.
The Organization reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the raffle, subject to AGLC approval.
If the raffle is cancelled, all ticket purchasers will be refunded in accordance with AGLC policies.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of the raffle and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
