RULES OF PLAY – 50/50 ELECTRONIC RAFFLE – OPTIMIST CLUB OF AUSABLE PORT FRANKS

• Tickets will be sold only to persons 18 years of age and older.

• Ticket purchasers must be located in the province of Ontario when purchased.

• Ticket prices are: 2 tickets for $10.00, 5 tickets for $20.00, 20 tickets for $60.00 and 50 tickets for $100.00.

• Tickets will be available for sale from August 1, 2026, at 9:00 am. until October 31, 2026, at 4:59 pm.

• Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system provided by Rafflebox Technologies Inc.

• Tickets will be available for sale online at OurOptimist5050.ca. Purchases can be made using major credit cards. In person tickets may be sold for cash.

• After tickets are purchased, patrons will receive a confirmation email with their 50/50 raffle ticket(s)

• The winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generator from all the raffle numbers sold for the draw.

• There are a total of 3 prizes to be won:

-Early Bird Prize # 1 – $200.00 cash. Draw date September 1, 2026, at 5:00pm.

-Early Bird Prize # 2 – $200.00 cash. Draw date October 1, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

-Grand Prize 50/50 Draw – 50% of gross ticket sales, net of any refunds or voided transactions from this lottery. Draw Date October 31, 2026, at 5:00 pm

• Any ticket number drawn can win only one early bird prize. Any number which wins an early bird prize is eligible to win the grand prize 50/50 draw.

• Prize winners will be notified by a representative of the Optimist Club by telephone and or email. The winning numbers will be announced on the website, via social media platforms and will be posted at the site where the draw is held.

• The winning ticket holders have 6 months from the date of the draw to claim their prizes.

• The winners must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with personal photo identification. Once verified, the winners will be awarded their prizes.

• If no one steps forward to claim their prize within 6 months of the draw date, prizes will revert back to the Optimist Club of Ausable Port Franks to be donated to local service organizations subject to the approval of the AGCO.

• By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to allow the Optimist Club to use the purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.

• Board members of Optimist Club of Ausable Port Franks will not be allowed to purchase tickets for this lottery. 

• These rules of play will be posted on the website.
