The Northern Lights Lantern Festival is excited to announce our 50/50 fundraiser is back! - Grab your tickets now!

The Northern Lights Lantern Festival is a day of fun and creativity for all ages, where old friends run into each other and new friends are made. The festival is a celebration of the vibrancy and diversity of Halifax’s North End. It’s a community festival in the truest sense, where everyone is welcome.

The 23rd Annual Northern Lights Lantern Festival is on August 8, 2026 at Merv Sullivan Park (The Pit), North End Halifax. To learn more about the festival visit: https://NLLF.org

Funds raised by this raffle will help support our festival’s commitment to offering all of our activities, entertainment and BBQ free of charge, as we continue to celebrate the North End as a community.

NORTHERN LIGHTS LANTERN FESTIVAL 50/50 RULES

1. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:

• 1 for $5

• 5 for $10

• 20 for $20

• 100 for $50

2. Purchasers must be residents of Nova Scotia

3. The winner will be determined using a random number generator.

4. Draw to take place on August 8, 2026. Sales will close at 9:05 pm that same day.

5. Draw location / time will be at Merv Sullivan Park, 3791 Novalea Dr, Halifax NS at 9:05pm

6. The winner will receive cash prize equal to half the pot.

7. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. Failure of the winner to claim their prize 90 days after the draw date will results in a second draw.
