Canada’s Irish Festival Luck of the Irish 50/50 Fundraiser 50/50 Raffle - Rules of Play
1. Irish Festival Inc. is a non-profit organization. Registered charitable organization tax number: 126868579 RR 0001
2. There will be one (1) draw draw for 50% of total money collected that will take place at Irish Festival Inc. Office located at 1745 Water Street, Miramichi, NB on Sunday, July 19,2026 at 12pm.
3. Raffles are subject to the laws of the Province of New Brunswick. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 19 years of age or older; online portal will feature a certified “geofence” that will prohibit purchases from any person physically located – or attempting to access the site from – outside of New Brunswick.
4. Tickets are 1 number for $5, 3 numbers for $10, 10 numbers for $20 and 50 numbers for $50.
5. Tickets will be available via the online purchase website https://www.rafflebox.ca.
Purchasers must provide their first name, last name, address, telephone number and e-mail as part of the purchase process and must purchase tickets only with a valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via a secure payment gateway. Tickets will also be available onsite during the 2026 Irish Festival via a Point of Sales device.
6. After buying, purchasers will be presented with a downloadable and printable ticket/receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly. Numbers purchased will be stored electronically along with the purchasers’ purchase history and information.
7. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for the period of the raffle.
8. The amount of the 50/50 will be broadcast and updated on the website regularly on https://www.rafflebox.ca/luck-of-the-irish
9. The winning number will be featured on the website https://www.rafflebox.ca and on Irish Festival Inc. Website and Social Media accounts.
10.Upon verification of the winner’s identity and age, via a valid provincial or federal photo identification card (i.e., driver’s license, passport, etc.), the winner will be given payment
11.In the event that the winner does not claim their prize, or attempts to contact the winner are unsuccessful, the winning ticket number will be null and void and the prize will be donated back to Irish Festival Inc.
12.Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be issued a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales from the draw.
13. The winner’s name will be broadcast/posted on the website https://www.rafflebox.ca/ and publicized via Irish Festival Inc. Website and Social Media accounts.
14.The above set of rules will be posted on the website https://www.rafflebox.ca/ and may be downloaded (pdf) or printed from that site.
