Rules of Play
1. All tickets will be sold only to residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older.
2. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies ("Rafflebox"), an approved vendor of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
3. This is a 50/50 draw and the prize value will be 50% of the dollar value of all tickets sold.
4. Scheduled Start and End Dates for Ticket Sales:
- January 12 – March 26, 2026
- April 6 – July 2, 2026
- July 6 – October 1, 2026
- October 5 – December 22, 2026
Each raffle will start at 9am EST and end at 9pm EST
5. The number of tickets for sale will be unlimited. Tickets will be issued in sequential order. A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw. After buying, purchasers will be sent a receipt with their raffle registered numbers generated by Rafflebox Technologies' Random Number Generator (RNG) system.
6. Tickets will be sold in the following bundles:
- 3 for $10
- 27 for $27
- 120 for $50
- 270 for $100
7. Individuals Ineligible to Participate:
- Individuals under 18 years of age
- Residents outside of Ontario
- Employees of the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, board members, and their immediate family members residing in the same household
- Employees of Rafflebox Technologies Inc., and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services for the lottery
8. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG) system from all numbers sold during the draw period.
9. The draw will be held at the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, 203 – 205 Horton St E, London, ON N6B 1K7. The winning number will be published on the lottery landing page and shared via social media (@BrainTumourFdn).
10. The winner will be contacted by a representative from the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada via phone and email to arrange prize collection.
11. To claim the prize, the winner must provide proof of identity (e.g., driver’s license or OHIP card). Once confirmed, payment will be made by cheque or e-transfer.
12. Any unclaimed prizes will be held for six (6) months from the draw date. If the prize remains unclaimed after this period, it will be donated to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada with the AGCO's approval.
13. If technical issues or unexpected events delay the draw, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada will resolve the issue promptly and proceed with the draw on an alternate date approved by the AGCO.
14. The winning number will be securely stored and held for six months if no winner comes forward. After that time, the prize will be donated to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada with AGCO approval.
15. These Rules of Play will be posted on www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/btfc.
