MOMIJI HEALTH CARE SOCIETY “HALFSIES” 50/50 RULES
1. Eligibility:
a) The raffle is open to all individuals who are 18 years of age or older and in Ontario at the time of purchase.
b) Bona Fide members are ineligible to participate.
2. Description of how the game is played
a) Electronic Draw
- After buying, the seller will provide the purchaser with a receipt with their registered numbers from the electronic raffle system (Rafflebox). No specific numbers can be given as they are issued in sequence of order.
- The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all lottery numbers sold for the draw.
3. 50/50 Draw Duration:
a) The raffle will begin on April 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM and run until June 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
b) Ticket sales will be open throughout this period.
4. Draw Date:
a) The 50/50 draw will take place on June 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
b) The winners will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
5. Ticket Purchase:
a) Tickets can be purchased online through the designated raffle website or in-person ticket purchases can be made by filling out and submitting a physical form.
b) Upon online purchase, tickets will be emailed to buyers to the provided email address.
c) Participants who do not have access to email can request a printed ticket.
6. Ticket Pricing:
a) 50/50 draw tickets will be available at the following prices:
- 1 ticket for $5
- 7 tickets for $25
- 20 tickets for $50
7. Number of Entries:
a) Participants may purchase multiple tickets to increase their chances of winning.
b) The number of tickets that can be purchased by a single participant is not limited.
8. Payment Methods:
a) Online ticket purchases can be made using major credit cards, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit cards.
b) In-person ticket purchases can be made using accepted forms of payment at the designated location.
9. Prizes:
a) The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales.
10. Claiming Prizes:
a) The winner will be notified by phone or email and provided instructions on how to claim their prize.
b) The winner may claim their prize by contacting Momiji Health Care Society at (416) 261-6683 Ext. 260 or email at fundraising@momiji.on.ca
c) The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
d) The winner must provide their name, address and phone number with picture identification. By purchasing tickets for Momiji Health Care Society’s Prize Raffle and 50/50 draw, the winner agrees to the use of their name and likeness without compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.
e) Once the winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will receive the prize won. Cheques will be written for cash prizes. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
f) In the event that no winner comes forward, any prizes which are not claimed will be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. After that time period has elapsed a second draw from the same numbers will occur with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
