Did you know?  Beyond nursing and home support, VON serves thousands of clients in Nova Scotia every week through Community Support Services, including: Meals-on-Wheels, Transportation, Adult Day Programs and more…

COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way in which VON is able to raise funds to support community programs, which rely heavily on donor support.  We are seeking your help to keep important VON programs running by inviting you to participate in our monthly 50/50 raffle – drawn on the 2^nd Thursday of each month!  Your support through this raffle will help ensure that VON programs continue to serve vulnerable people in communities across Nova Scotia.

 Here’s a snapshot of our impact in the province through:

                Nursing:

·       47,000+ hours of home nursing services per month

·       7,400+ clients per month

Home Support: 

·       61,000+ hours of home support services per month

·       2,700+ clients per month

      Community Support Services: 

·       6,640 Meals-on-Wheels delivered on average per month

·       1,150 contact hours with our Adult Day Program clients on average per month

·       22,775 average kilometers travelled by staff & volunteers for Meals-on-Wheels and Transportation programs per month

 VON is a trusted home and community health care charity providing innovative clinical, personal and social support to people who want the comfort and peace of mind of living in their own homes and communities. As the founder of home care in Canada, VON delivers health, wellness and end-of life support to thousands of Nova Scotians every day.

 Winner is drawn the 2^nd Thursday of every month starting May 2021 – with ticket sales closing at 11:59pm on Monday.
