The Twin Oaks/Birches Health Care Charitable Foundation 50/50 is a monthly online raffle fundraiser supporting both the Twin Oaks Hospital & The Birches Nursing home. 50% of the tickets sales will be awarded to the Nova Scotian who purchased the winning ticket number, and the remaining 50% (less fees) will go to the foundation.

Funds raised by the foundation go towards the care and comfort of residents and patients of Twin Oaks Hospital and The Birches Home for Special Care that are not covered by the province.

These facilities are very important to the residents of Musquodoboit Harbour and the Eastern Shore. The Birches has 42 nursing home beds with Twin Oaks Hospital having 14 beds and a very busy outpatient department. Most families in the facility catchment area have been touched by the Twin Oaks Hospital and the Birches nursing home in some way.

Tickets will be sold online and available to all Nova Scotians (see house rules for exceptions.)

Each monthly winner will be drawn on the first Tuesday of the month, beginning in November 2024.
