The Stanley Park Ecology Society (“SPES”) is excited to announce our 50/50 Raffle at the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival in Vancouver’s Stanley Park happening from September 13 to 15, 2024. Buy your tickets now, for a chance to win up to $10,000! All funds raised by the raffle will go towards education, conservation, and research rooted in Stanley Park. SPES’s mission is education, conservation and research rooted in Stanley Park, with the vision of the organization is of generations inspired by nature within and beyond Stanley Park. SPES, operating since 1988, has held a Joint Operating Agreement (“JOA”) with the Vancouver Park Board (“VPB”) as their leading park partner for over 25 years. SPES programming includes public education and outreach, school programs, eco-camps and clubs, and park conservation. SPES operates the Nature House on Lost Lagoon, and champions habitat enhancement and urban wildlife projects in Stanley Park.
