The Snowmobilers Association of Nova Scotia (S.A.N.S.) is a non-profit association that provides leadership and support to our member snowmobile clubs. The SANS manages a Provincial trail system that is maintained to the International Standard. The trail system is self-sufficient and maintained by the member clubs. We build and maintain trails throughout Nova Scotia so our members and the public may enjoy quality recreational snowmobiling opportunities. This also provides safe and well-developed trails, which are multi-use and provide outdoor recreation for many trail users, including hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, equine, ATV, bicycling and many other like minded groups. The SANS is dedicated to the enhancement of organized snowmobiling through such means as; Trail Development, Safety, Public Education, and Advocacy. We fundraise hundreds of thousands of dollars and literally donate thousands of volunteer hours on the maintenance and grooming of safe standardized trails. Our members are active, community minded, environmentally conscious nature enthusiasts who are committed to volunteerism.
