Medicine Hat Robertson Memorial Legion is asking for your help. Just as non-profits and small businesses, the Medicine Hat Legion has struggled paying the bills with little or no revenue for almost three years.

To keep the Legion going we applied for and received a $30,000 Federal Loan for the Legion Canteen and $30,000 for Schooner’s Pub, which the Legion owns. Now, that we are open again full time, we need to raise the $60,000 to pay back the loan to the Federal Government.

We decided that we needed to be creative and think outside the box to raise this amount of money by December 31, 2023. Therefore, we are asking our members, Veterans, members of our community and anyone who is able, to buy a ticket in this raffle.

Robertson Memorial Br #17 hosts community groups such as Golden K Kiwanis, The Aviation Club, Vet Build, Line Dancers, Senior Darts, Senior Dine and Dance, Senior Cards, The Historical Society, and for funerals or Celebrations of Life gatherings.

Most importantly Robertson Memorial Br #17 has become an integral part of the Medicine Hat Community. Our mandate is to help Veterans and their families in need and to keep Remembrance alive. Together we can keep Robertson Memorial strong and vibrant well into the future so we can continue to fulfill our mandate.
