The Rotary Club of Hillsborough – Charlottetown has been active in the community since June 1979. The Rotary moto is “
Service about Self” and this is at the very heart of our mission. Our club has been a leader in community projects locally and abroad including building schools, digging wells for clean
water, supporting Farmers Helping Farmers, providing assistance to disaster victims, the less fortunate and other organizations. Locally we manage and support scholarship programs (STRIVE at Colonel Gray High School), school
breakfast programs, partnered to build the Soup Kitchen, invested in hospital equipment and support a number of youth programs such as Youth Parliament and the International Youth Exchange program.
