Powell River Orphaned Wildlife Society is a charitable organization and rehabilitation centre located in Powell River, British Columbia. Our mission is to rehabilitate and release injured, ill and orphaned wildlife here on the Sunshine Coast. Last year we treated over 500 animals including raccoons, fawns, waterfowl, songbirds and raptors. We have been rescuing wildlife since 2016.

Powell River Orphaned Wildlife Society is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of ill, injured and orphaned wildlife. We strive to provide compassionate care to each individual creature, according to best practice, throughout it's rehabilitation. We will release all fully recovered animals back to their natural environment. We are also committed to educating the public in wildlife protection and environmental awareness. We will promote good stewardship of British Columbia's indigenous species whenever the opportunity arises.
