Since 1934, the Pictou Lobster Carnival has brought the Town of Pictou, the counties of the Northumberland Strait and the lobster fishing industry working fishing area 26A together to celebrate another safe and successful end to the lobster fishing season, making our beloved event the longest running lobster fishing celebration in North America!

Funds raised by this raffle will support our event, which continues to see significant increases for virtually all supplier contracts without a matching increase in sponsorship and fundraising.

With a year over year decline in sponsorship along with a significant increase in the cost to run an event the size of our 2024 edition, we are hopeful that these funds through this raffle can help keep our event healthy and affordable for all to enjoy and that we can keep offering great events and attraction options for all budgets!
