Seeing is believing, right?
Through the 2021 Gift From the Heart Radiothon, seeing will lead to healing as we aim to fund a new Ophthalmic Microscope for the Operating Department at South Shore Regional Hospital.
This microscope is heavily used at South Shore Regional; a key piece of equipment in every eye surgery. And who doesn't know someone who has had a cataract removed at South Shore Regional?
The OR's current Ophthalmic Microscope is aging and is starting to need repairs more frequently. If you or a loved one should find yourself in need of an eye surgery at South Shore Regional Hospital, you will have peace of mind knowing the equipment being used is the best, thanks to your support of the 11th annual Gift From The Heart Radiothon.
To provide the best patient care, healthcare professionals need the right tools. This online 50/50 will raise funds in support of this new Ophthalmic Microscope and make it a reality at South Shore Regional Hospital when the Gift From The Heart Radiothon returns February 12th, 2021.
