Henry Janzen Elementary School: Where active bodies and minds unite.

We all know that physical activity in children is hugely beneficial and includes:

• Improved cardiovascular fitness (heart and lungs)

• Maintenance of a healthy weight.

• Improved posture.

• Better sleep patterns.

• Increased self-esteem and confidence.

• Improved concentration.

• Help with relaxation.

• Building stronger bones and muscles.

Funds raised by this raffle will support getting kids to be more active by installing a new playground structure to help promote a healthy and active lifestyle. This structure will not only benefit the current and future students at the school but also benefits the members of the community.
