1. Players must reside in Alberta. Tickets may be purchased and sold in Alberta only.
2. Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets and use a major credit card or Visa Debit. Credit cards used for payment must have an Alberta Address. Pursuant to the Public Trustee Act, tickets buyers are advised not to write the name of a person under the age of 18 on the ticket stub.
3. Heritage Park Employees, Board Members, and Board Committee Members are not eligible to purchase tickets.
4. Heritage Park Volunteers are eligible to purchase tickets.
5. Total ticket value is $20,000. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
Series A: 125 tickets at 1 for $10.00 each
Series B: 1,500 tickets at 4 for $20.00 each
Series C: 2,500 tickets at 20 for $50.00 each
Series D: 5,000 tickets at 100 for $100 each
The total number of tickets is 9,125
6. Tickets sales begin on November 26, 2020 and end on December 15, 2020 at 11:59 PM and only tickets sold during this time will be included in the draw on December 19, 2020.
7. There is no refund or exchanges on tickets.
8. No tax receipt will be issued for any portion of the price of a ticket.
9. Draw will be made on December 19, 2020 at Heritage Park 1900 Heritage Drive SW, Calgary, AB T2V 2X3
10. The raffle prize is a cash prize. The winner will receive a minimum cash prize of $4,000 or o 50% of total ticket sales (whichever is greater) to a maximum of $10,000.
11. At least three (3) employees and/or board members of Heritage Park, who do not reside in the same household, will be present to supervise the draw.
12. The draw can be made by any person who does not own a ticket or interest in the draw. Only the person making the draw may put their arm/hand in the draw container. The arm of the person making the draw must be bare of clothing below the elbow. The person making the draw shall look away from the container in the direction of the witnesses.
13. The winner will be determined by a random draw. Tickets shall be drawn from a container that is transparent so that tickets can be seen from the outside. Prior to the drawing, the ticket container must be rotated, or the contents agitated, a minimum of three times. Tickets must be drawn manually from the container in a random manner.
14. A record of the ticket drawn shall be made indicating the ticket serial number, the name, phone number and email of the prize-winner and the time and date the ticket was drawn. Winning ticket shall be immediately exhibited to witnesses and held open for inspection until the end of the draw.
15. Prize is awarded in the form of a cheque in the name of the ticket winner. Prize will either be mailed to the winner, or it can be picked up by the winner at 1900 Heritage Park Drive SW, Calgary AB during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
16. In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. Heritage Park and Alberta Gaming Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
17. The winner will be contacted by telephone and/or email within 7 days of the draw and by mail if they cannot be contacted by telephone or email. The winner has 90 days, from the draw date, to claim their prize.
18. If a winner has been notified by telephone and/or email and/or registered mail and the prize is not claimed within 90 days a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 90 days if the prize goes unclaimed.
19. By participating you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
20. Heritage Park shall retain all tickets with the raffle records for two years after the last draw date.
