Help us make Dreams come true for children like Ronin and Gavin.
Eleven-year-old Ronin from Courtenay wants to go to "the happiest place on Earth". He and his family hope to travel to Disney World in December 2025. Ronin has never travelled off Vancouver Island, has never been on a plane, and cannot believe that his Dream is going to come true. "Things have been very difficult especially over the past few years as Ronin adjusts to life with T1D. Quite simply a trip like this is not something that would be possible for us. Thank you," said Shannon, Ronin's mom.
Fifteen-year-old Gavin from Courtenay loves military history. His Dream is to attend the Bovington TankFest in Dorset England June 2025. Gavin has explored some local military history such as the tanks outside the Armouries in Vancouver, Fort Rodd Hill in Victoria, and military museums on Vancouver Island. "Gavin may always require support through out his life and we are unsure if he will get the chance to ever travel independently due to his T1D and his other multiple disabilities and health concerns. This will be a very special time for him as we can spend together that isn't focused on appointments and healthcare," said Noelle, Gavin's mom.
This raffle is made possible by the generosity of Georgia Strait Collison and Saratoga Motorsports Park. We thank them for their continuing support.
