The Navy League Cadet program aims to help young Canadians learn life skills including citizenship, teamwork and self-discipline. Our programming is designed to help cadets become more aware of the world around them, become self-sufficient and confident in their own skills. Throughout their training, Navy League Cadets learn what good leadership looks like, how to work together, and how to overcome challenges. Youth leave the program with a genuine interest in their community’s well-being and equipped with skills to become active citizens.

Our program welcomes youth between the ages of 9 and 12 for fun, naval-themed activities. Our Corp #205 W.H. Evelyn is supported through fundraising and donations.

The Navy League of Canada Foothills Branch is working behind the scenes to support the efforts of training staff as well as manages a variety of items to ensure the corps activities can run smoothly, including fundraising initiatives, insurance policies, rental space for parades, activities, and community liaison.

 The Navy League of Canada Foothills Branch based out of McKenzie Lake are raffling off a WestJet Gift of Flight. Which includes one roundtrip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination!*  

Your support will help pay for training, camps, sailing, scuba diving, insurance policies, and rental space. Every dollar raised goes into the cadets being successful.
