In the roofing and construction industries, we often think of jobsite safety in terms of physical risks. But unseen mental health challenges—like anxiety, depression, and substance abuse—are just as impactful, affecting worker safety, job performance, and lives. Mental health struggles, especially in high-stress environments like ours, can have serious consequences, yet they are not as visible or widely discussed.

This year we have chosen to support the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). CMHA provides essential resources and education that can help break the stigma around mental health in our industry. Through this partnership, we aim to create safer, healthier workplaces, support our teams and encourage open conversations about mental health—because well-being matters as much as physical safety.
