County Arts is thrilled to announce an exciting new way to help us unlock the full potential of our local artistic community - a Raffle featuring three 2-night stay packages in partnership with The CAPE!

Prince Edward County’s only artist grant program needs your support! In the last seven years, County Arts has awarded local artists over $30,000 to help advance their career aspirations through the Artist Fund. Our Artist Residency program, launched during the pandemic, provides artists much-needed space and time to focus on their creative pursuits. We have plans to expand the potential of this program, but this is proving difficult in a moment when arts funding is drying up.

This is also a critical time for artists whose need for supports are exponentially increasing. Like the average Canadian artist in small/rural municipalities, who earns 50% less than non-artist peers ($21,600) – many Prince Edward County artists struggle to make ends meet. Our grant and residency programs offer essential support to working artists.

Each of the three winners will receive a gift certificate valued at $800, redeemable for a 2-night stay at The CAPE between November 1st-April 30th, subject to availability.

• County Arts Board and Staff Members and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the raffle
