Calgary Bluesfest is celebrating our 20th Anniversary! With a mandate to preserve, foster and present blues music and musicians, we’re are proud to be the presenter of the world-renowned Calgary International Blues Festival, our Walk Through Blues History series, Blues At Noon Series, Blues in the Park and many other ongoing events. In preserving the blues, we have created one of the largest digital archives of the blues to be found anywhere, with CBTV hosting more than 400 videos of performances, workshops and special programming! We love to foster up and coming artists with workshops, scholarships, artist development and showcases, as well as exposing artists and their music to blues audiences.

Calgary Bluesfest also has one of the finest volunteer teams on the planet – our volunteers are the heartbeat of our events, with their smiles, hospitality and dedication creating our memorable, first rate events!

Calgary Blues Music Association, the body behind Calgary International Blues Festival and all our other activities, is a Not For Profit Society registered under the Societies Act Of Alberta in May, 2005.
