The Calgary Stampede Foundation is a charitable organization that provides high quality youth programming and inspiring spaces to develop strong youth for a stronger community. Through performing arts programs such as the Calgary Stampede Showband, the Stampede Foundation provides Alberta’s youth with opportunities that enhance their leadership skills, personal growth, citizenship, and education.

The Calgary Stampede Showband program is designed to develop youth within the performing arts and encourage each member to achieve musical, performance, and personal excellence. Our members develop athleticism, artistry, and the confidence that comes from honing skills through hard work and persistence. Through hundreds of hours of activity each year and with each high-energy performance, members gain valuable life skills including leadership, goal-setting, and teamwork.

The 152 members are developing lifelong skills such as teamwork, artistry, and the confidence that comes through dedication, hard work, and persistence. The Stampede Showband celebrates youth achievement in the community while delivering a world-class performing arts program for Alberta’s youth.

The Showband was crowned with their Seventh World Championship title from the World Association of Marching Show Bands in 2023 - the only group to earn such an achievement. No other group comes close to this title!
