BISHOP CARROLL MUSIC SOCIETY IS EXCITED TO LAUNCH OUR 1ST ONLINE 50/50 RAFFLE!
OUR JACKPOT COULD BE AS HIGH AS $30,000!
The BCMS is a Registered Canadian Charity, with membership consisting of parents of all students enrolled in the very diverse Bishop Carroll High School Music Program in Calgary. We are a very close knit ‘Musical Family’ (offering band, choir and strings) and for our musicians, music is their sanctuary. It is their stress release and their emotional expression.
COVID-19 has been hard on everyone and we are all looking for positive ways to keep as much ‘normal’ as possible in our world. Students need FUN. They need their friends, they need physical interaction and they need a program that can continue to provide all of these with balance and structure all in one.
Money raised through this fundraiser will enable the Music Society to continue to financially support the Music Program by purchasing and maintaining uniforms, music, offering technology and new instruments as well as funding Clinicians and Instructors who provide private and sectional lessons for our students. In person (when allowed) and online performances and concerts, through the dedication, technology and ingenuity of our Music Directors, are keeping Bishop Carroll Music Students excited, engaged, motivated and open to receive the most amazing music/educational experience possible within the COVID guidelines. BCMS is proud to back many of these initiatives.

1. Players must reside in Alberta, 18 years or older, and use a major credit card or Visa Debit.
2. There is only one 50/50 prize.
Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
1 for $10 – (250 pkgs) $2500
4 for $20 – ( 625 pkgs) $12,500
20 for $50 – (400 pkgs) $20,000
100 for $100 – (250 pkgs) $25,000
3. Ticket sales will end on April 24, 2021 at 11:59pm with the draw taking place at Bishop Carroll High School 4624 Richard Road SW Calgary, AB T3E 6L1.
4. As per AGLC guidelines, BCMS reserves the right to apply for draw extension no later than April 16, 2021.
5. DRAW DATE: Friday April 30, 2021.
6. One 50/50 ticket will be drawn randomly by an individual over the age of 18. There must be at least 3 BCMS Board Members in attendance to witness the draw.
7. The winner will receive a minimum cash prize of $12,000 or 50% of ticket sales (whichever is greater) up to a maximum of $30,000
8. The winner will be determined by a random draw. The winner will be contacted by phone and/or email. The winner has 30 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 30 days if the prize goes unclaimed.
9. Draw results will be announced in the BCMS Newsletter ‘Key Notes’.
10. By playing you consent to having your name, winning numbers published.
11. LEGISLATION: This raffle is conducted within the province of Alberta & is compliant with AGLC rules.
12. BCMS reserves the right to make changes to these playing rules without notice, prior to the end of ticket sales.
