About the St. Albert Big Brothers Big Sisters program:

BBBS St. Albert provides one-on-one mentoring opportunities where one mentor and one mentee spend time together building a friendship based on trust, support, common interests, and fun! Mentors and mentees participate in a variety of activities—everything from riding bikes, skating, reading, working on homework, cooking and playing video games to just talking and sharing with each other. The focus is on friendship and new experiences. Like our match, for example Justin & Sean**:

“Justin comes from a family of four, raised by a single mom alongside his two sisters. He was enrolled in our program to provide him with the male companionship his mother felt unable to provide. After four months in the program, Justin and Sean’s match has blossomed, with both parties expressing immense satisfaction. Determined to help Justin grow, Sean has been encouraging him to step out of his comfort zone, witnessing tangible improvements already.
