In 2014, the Asahi Baseball Association was founded with the purpose of contributing to the promotion of non-profit activities that involve a passion for baseball, without discrimination, regardless of one's place of origin or gender. Asahi has been dedicated to fostering the values of teamwork and sportsmanship since its conception. Asahi is also actively engaged in the development of our youth. One of our club’s main activities is the Asahi Japan Tour, which is aimed at promoting an international cultural exchange, through baseball, between our members, aged 15 and 16, and their counterparts in Japan.

For our next tour in 2025, we have a strong desire to further enhance international exchange through the development of talent in both Japan and Canada. To alleviate the financial burden of the Japan tour on families, we have been engaging in fundraising activities such as recycling drives, bake sales, and other fundraisers as well as providing Asahi baseball camps for local baseball teams, leveraging the unique strengths of Asahi. These efforts will continue with active participation from players and their parents.

Funds raised by this 50/50 raffle will support the team in achieving their goal of travelling to Japan in 2025.
