Alice House is excited to announce our online 50/50 fundraiser!

Since 1982, Alice House has played a pioneering role in Canada as the second project of its kind in the nation, providing second-stage safe housing for women and their children recovering from the impacts of intimate partner violence in our community.

Our facilities comprise 18 units where resident safety and stability is prioritized, allowing them to rebuild their lives while also building credit and landlord history on the way to long term safety and independence. Our comprehensive support services include counselling for women and their children, a food security program, an economic independence program, violence prevention education, and domestic violence court advocacy.

The women and children who seek support from Alice House are as diverse as the community we live in, coming from all types of socioeconomic, racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. She could be your neighbor, your employer, your best friend, a community volunteer, or the person next to you at the gym. That is the reality of domestic violence... it is a silent war. For these women, Alice House exists.

Funds raised by this 50/50 will support our mission of providing opportunities for women and their children who are healing from intimate partner violence through our services.
