Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) is a registered charity and non-profit society that has been dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and release since 1993. We are located northwest of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
As an accredited veterinary clinic through the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, AIWC specializes in treating injured and orphaned wildlife. In 2024 we provided care to 1,774 animals in need. Our work is funded by donations, allowing us to continue making a difference for Alberta’s wildlife.
