Since 1985, Upstream Ottawa Mental Health Community Support has been providing community supports to youth and adults living with mental health and substance-use health challenges, to lead self-guided and fulfilling lives. In addition to our clinical programs, which serve over 150+ individuals and families across Ottawa, we offer complimentary wellness services. These services, which include housing client transportation, support groups, meal provision, recreational outings, and financial assistance in securing daily necessities, are specifically designed to empower our clients, reduce social isolation, and encourage independence needed to thrive long-term. Unlike our clinical programs, our wellness services do not receive government funding but rely on grantors, sponsors, donors, and fundraising initiatives.
